Why should I report an Issue with MEDION Life+?

The plugs are advertised as compatible with Alexa but I have tried to link and it just says unable to and try again laterFails to add smart plugs bought at Aldi in Australia on a Google Pixel XL (running Pie) because it appears it can't detect the wifi network name it's connected to it just displays unknown ssid.

2. *UPDATE* Although the plugs did work turning the lights on and off at the appropriate times using the timer (and also using Google assistant home voice activation), they also kept turning on and off throughout the night constantly disturbing my sleep and waking me up.

3. Draw back of the plug is it is too wide and doesn't allow use of the second plug in a double power point.The app forces a complex password system which took a while to complete but once past that instalation of the plugs was easy.

4. I wanted to use voice activation to turn on/off all the lamps, however unlike that shown in the user manual, the app does not include a voice activation control button.

5. Had to use an ipad to add the device to the account and then it showed up on the app on the pixel and was able to add it to be controlled via voice on through Google Home.Used to be a great app and great products but now will not run on Google Pixel 3 device, crashing at start up every time.

6. A lack of an easy way to show switch status and widgets is disapointing.Bought two plugs from Aldi.

7. The plugs appear to have memory so maybe it could log it's last state rather than original state and when this drop out happens, it could flicker rather than turn off or on? Will update with results soon.

8. I purchased four Medion Smart Plugs to use with lamps in a room.

9. Fix this stuff for a fiver! Cheers!Bought a €150 rgb led light and this app doesn't even work properly, half of the options do not work and you can't even customize it on your own, but have to customize with some options where you can't change a lot and proper.... I'm really disappointed.

10. Timer function is great and Medion Life+ app syncs well with Google Home.A lot of work needs to be done on this app.

11. So although these lamps can be turned on/off remotely they cannot be turned on/off with one click per room or by a voice command.

1. Fix MEDION Life+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MEDION Life+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MEDION Life+ App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MEDION Life+" » Open MEDION Life+ » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MEDION Life+ » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MEDION Life+ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MEDION Life+ servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MEDION Life+" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MEDION Life+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MEDION Life+ might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MEDION Life+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MEDION Life+ then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MEDION Life+ not working

2. Fix MEDION Life+ Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MEDION Life+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MEDION Life+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MEDION Life+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
