1. I also sent the developer an email with a screen shot of the hacker email.Really useful in keeping track of my daughter's phone when she loses it, like leaving it in the shed last night! Tracked to garden and then made the sound ring and found it.

2. Quick log in instead of having to load up Apple site.---- 6/16/19 Update ---- Everything works now with v2.5.1! Thanks for the quick fix! 👍 ------- Ever since the latest update, the app has been broken for me.

3. Im not sure what sound it plays, but It really works!Works perfectly I was skeptical to give my iCloud login information to an unknown 3rd party app, but trust me, this app is legit, and not malware or anything crazy.

4. Then I received a phishing email indicating that I needed to verify my apple account info to unlock my account.

5. A few days ago the app would no longer sign in to the apple account, yet username and password were still working on the iPhone.

6. I would welcome the authors of the app to give me some hints and tips on how to make this workI believe this app is compromised and allows someone to mine your username and password to your iCloud.

8. I get Error 412 and that's it.It wakes my husband up lol! My husband sometimes forget to turn the ringer back on, so I used this app a couple of times to play a sound to wake him up.

9. After entering Apple ID and password, the app crashes with "Unknown Error.

10. Now it shows the phone I'm trying to track as bring at the user's house, no matter where it really is.

11. So glad I found this app.Unreliable at best for an Android user trying to keep an eye on a teenager.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Find my iDevices Issues

1. Fix Find my iDevices Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Find my iDevices: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Find my iDevices App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Find my iDevices" » Open Find my iDevices - TAGG » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Find my iDevices » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Find my iDevices - TAGG app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Find my iDevices servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Find my iDevices - TAGG" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Find my iDevices app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Find my iDevices might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Find my iDevices. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Find my iDevices then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Find my iDevices not working


2. Fix Find my iDevices Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Find my iDevices be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Find my iDevices not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Find my iDevices may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
