1. Might as well use the Hotel's remote! It's just a service to make you feel "up-to-date"!I thought maybe this was an app to stream my netflix, or xfinity stream app, but all it does is make your phone an extra remote.
2. You can pay to see the program listing... otherwise, the one useful feature would be to browse on demand selections from your phone (easier to explore using phone than tv remote IMHO), but the list in the app is very old.
3. (power, volume, basic channel guide unless you pay) If a hotel wants to differentiate itself, allows casting to the TV's from our own accounts.
4. Screw all who choose this as their hotel entertainment service. You're better off using a regular remote.
5. Hotel TV promoted this app in partnership with Stayconnect to enable streaming content from my phone to the LG TV in my room.
6. It doesn't let you see what's actually on each channel unless you pay a yearly subscription, which is just plain stupid--I would have been fine with a one-time purchase--but what really irks me is that the damn notification that begs you to buy it will NOT go away, no matter how many times you click "dismiss".
7. Hilton, get with the times! You're light years away compared to other large hotel chains! You can't cast to the TV.
8. There are plenty of other hotel chains that allow you to connect for free.
9. It has basic remote functions so if the batteries are dead, it will do that in a pinch....Just ridiculous.
10. The hotel needs to update their Chromecast to the Google tv experience.Bait and switch.
11. Yes, that means getting a fiber connection and allotting reasonable Internet speeds for every user in the hotel.
