(S30/E30/M30) iCom Customer Insights

1. This is quite frustrating, because one of the main selling points of the thermostat was the geofencing.Nothing worse than a notification every time you start the app to enable a feature you've chosen not to use.

2. often, when I'm outside the fence, I have to open my iComfort app, inorder for the thermostat to go into "away mode." I've checked the settings on my Galaxy S23 Ultra, as well as in the app... Everything is set to allow the app to reference my GPS location in the background.

3. I don't trust this app and when I set my thermostat remotely I have to open it, set the temperature, and then force stop the app in Android OS before opening it again to verify it is actually set.

4. I can't figure out the touch screen thermostat and just want to use my phone to change the temperature.

5. This app requires to turn that service off, which makes using a mobile device less secure.If your Lennox password has an ampersand character in it ("&") you won't be able to login using this app.

6. When I first installed the thermostat and downloaded the app, I was very pleased because I just replaced Honeywell thermostat that had a horrible.

7. I think I'm going to look into getting a nest t-stat.Great "smart" thermostat.

8. The worst part of it is that at night when I need it most, I have to walk down to adjust my thermostat.

9. My 1999 programmable thermostat that was replaced by this was easier to program.

10. Even worse, sometimes you think you set your thermostat only to reopen the app and find out that it was not set.

11. And it asks for a PIN but the thermostat doesn't have any PIN on it on any menu.

1. Fix (S30/E30/M30) iCom Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart (S30/E30/M30) iCom: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the (S30/E30/M30) iCom App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "(S30/E30/M30) iCom" » Open (S30/E30/M30) iComfort T-Stat » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for (S30/E30/M30) iCom » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear (S30/E30/M30) iComfort T-Stat app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from (S30/E30/M30) iCom servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "(S30/E30/M30) iComfort T-Stat" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check (S30/E30/M30) iCom app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, (S30/E30/M30) iCom might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall (S30/E30/M30) iCom. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall (S30/E30/M30) iCom then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing (S30/E30/M30) iCom not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make (S30/E30/M30) iCom be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
