Why should I report an Issue with Sync for Reddit (Pro)?

1. On the plus side, a lot of issues I experienced in prior versions have been fixed (e.g. direct video sharing, stuttering/connectivity, internal browser)Had the older pro version which was suspended for some reason in the app store.

2. Promo code worked and I had access again!Had always been an awesome app with a great UI, but the last few months I've had major issues with functionality.

3. However, over the last few months I've been having constant issues loading any kind of video or gif, among other issues that reinstalling, clearing cache and data don't resolve.

8. After waiting for long enough, I contacted the developer and they gave me a promo code to access this version for free since I had purchased the previous version anyway.

9. And a lot of the previous functionality has been deleted.This new update is unexpectedly great so I'm posting to shout-out.

10. Not sure what's going on, but it basically becomes unusable half the time.This app is a highly functional and customizable reddit browser.

11. In addition to that they implemented ads to the free version of sync even if you bought the remove ads feature on it, just absurd.

1. Fix Sync Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Sync: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Sync App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sync" » Open Sync for Reddit (Pro) » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sync » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Sync for Reddit (Pro) app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sync servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sync for Reddit (Pro)" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Sync app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sync might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Sync. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sync then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sync not working

2. Fix Sync Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sync be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sync not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sync may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
