1. That aside, I've been using Sync for years now, and even with ads, it's still the best experience I've had with Reddit on mobile.Best reddit app I've used.
2. Looks like a push to get people to pay for the Pro version for no ads, which I'll pay, but these changes rub me wrong way.I don't know what happened within the last few months, but Sync has started chewing through my phone's battery like nobody's business, even when not in the app tray.
3. Reddit can't compete with this app's UI.After using the official app for years, I got fed up and looked for alternatives.
4. Well thought out and customizable.A couple months ago, Sync started auto-clicking on its own ads, forcing open the app store several times in a row as you attempt to close them and get back into the app.
5. Controls make sense unlike other apps, you can swipe up to exit a video player or you can swipe left to leave the comment section.
6. There are a number of bugs, error messages couldn't be less helpful if they tried... One thing I will give it though is it never double posts comments.
7. The only thing I wish it had was a gallery view (the swipe view is a good alternative).
8. I almost went with Relay, but opted for Sync because the design is more appealing to me.
9. So incredibly disrespectful of its users that the decision to permanently uninstall it and live with the original Reddit app was easy to make.
10. With so many other reddit apps available, I don't see a reason to struggle with it.
11. The best way of using reddit available on Android.
