1. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoidiThe fork offers are cool BUT I don't want and need to give a review every time especially if it's always the same restaurant.

4. Furthermore more, you can earn double points in a lot of restaurants but you can use the collected points for discount only at a handful of restaurants.We have been using The Fork app for many many years.

5. In the end, when I arrived at the restaurant, I discovered that the promotion I expected to receive was not honored when it was time to pay the bill.

6. Their loyalty program and offers are fantasticnot user friendly when you need to go through restaurants and check which one you like.

7. And dumb.My gf booked a table for her birthday only to find out the restaurant was close for the whole Christmas period once we got there.

8. I used their promotion code and saw the expected amount of of Yums on the final booking page.

9. Restaurant knew nothing about why our reservation would have been cancelled a few hours before timeslot.

1. Fix TheFork Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TheFork: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TheFork App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TheFork" » Open TheFork - Restaurant bookings » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TheFork » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TheFork - Restaurant bookings app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TheFork servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TheFork - Restaurant bookings" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TheFork app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TheFork might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TheFork. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TheFork then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TheFork not working


2. Fix TheFork Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TheFork be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TheFork not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TheFork may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
