FoodBooking Customer Insights

1. Last updated over half a year ago so clearly not maintained.Could be great, but why is the restaurant that brought me here (The Hive in Shepton Mallet) not available to me in the app? And why can't I access other restaurants in nearby towns? I also use restaurants in Wells, Glastonbury and Castle Cary for takeaways.

2. What's the point if the prices are wrong?!No search bar for searching 🤦 ♂️ Is there only 1 restaurant you service in the entire south bay??? Los Angeles, California and surrounding areas????? Don't waste your time! Also most of the 5 star reviews sound made up and also sounds like the same person.

3. Big failThis is useless! It only tries to find places near my location right now? I know the restaurant in the next town that I order from all the time uses this platform; and your wesbite doesnt have a login or save my info when I order so I thought I would try the app.

4. The restaurant told me the app didn't have the right prices and confirmed it with their menu and website.

5. Back to website for a much easier experience.Only shows 5 restaurants, all of which I can order from through other apps.

6. Poor design all around.Stuck in the states or in the gulf of new guiney but detects my favorite restaurant is nearby.

7. It gives you the option to select your favourite restaurant ONLY.

10. I don't know if this is a limitation of the app or foodbooking, but this is useless.App told me my total would be $33.54. When I arrived to pick up my order, it was over $36.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FoodBooking Issues

1. Fix FoodBooking Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart FoodBooking: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the FoodBooking App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FoodBooking" » Open FoodBooking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FoodBooking » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear FoodBooking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FoodBooking servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FoodBooking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check FoodBooking app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FoodBooking might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall FoodBooking. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FoodBooking then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FoodBooking not working


2. Fix FoodBooking Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FoodBooking be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FoodBooking not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FoodBooking may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
