1. It changes my default store randomly--I submitted a pick up order to a different store 20 miles away once when I forgot to double check before hitting "Submit." It routinely fails to save items to my cart and I only realize what's missing after picking up my order.

2. I have to go to a PC or browser version to clip coupons.I used to find it very easy to shop from your app, especially to add items to my list or cart directly from the weekly ad.

3. Kroger is not the closest grocery store to my home; I'm seriously thinking about switching to a competitor since I end up there to buy my missing items anyway.The latest update is horrible! It kicks me out all the time and then won't let me log back in, even after several tries.

4. Some things are practically impossible to do either one without scrolling through dozens and dozens of products that are in no semblance of order!I like being able to keep track of my savings and rewards.

7. I love the fact that they try to find another item and match prices when possible.

8. As for the coupons, no matter what I choose to filter, it only shows 6 coupons and they're for gift cards.

9. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, but it does not help.I've been using this app for years and loved it...not anymore.

10. I use it mainly to keep up with digital coupons and check while I am shopping.

11. When trying to go back in any part of the app (search, cart, savings), it goes back on what you did on your phone, not back within the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Kroger Issues

1. Fix Kroger Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Kroger: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Kroger App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Kroger" » Open Kroger » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Kroger » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Kroger app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Kroger servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kroger" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Kroger app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kroger might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Kroger. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Kroger then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kroger not working


2. Fix Kroger Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kroger be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kroger not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kroger may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I have to change my email on my other account an can't use my current one because it's already registered. Someone tried to hack my email.
