1. Didn't notify me until 2 hours after what I've been looking for for months was posted and it was already sold by then.since about April 2023, the app performance has been terrible, very slow response time.

2. The ads sprinkled in the items were fine, but now, when you click on an item, a full screen ad pops up.

3. Price of an item is the most important information in trading, which is not shown when items are listed.

4. I like the easy scrolling on the home page but it would be better if the price is visible on the cover pictures.

10. I updated to add another card, a process that apparently shares private information with a third party for advertising purposes.

11. Other times it doesn't sense the press and doesn't respond.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix OfferUp Issues

1. Fix OfferUp Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart OfferUp: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the OfferUp App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "OfferUp" » Open OfferUp: Buy. Sell. Simple. » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for OfferUp » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear OfferUp: Buy. Sell. Simple. app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from OfferUp servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "OfferUp: Buy. Sell. Simple." » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check OfferUp app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, OfferUp might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall OfferUp. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall OfferUp then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing OfferUp not working


2. Fix OfferUp Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make OfferUp be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to OfferUp not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, OfferUp may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

It has been months & you still haven't addressed the issue with my $30 refund for the counterfeit "KVD Lippies" that were sold to me by Christina. She admitted they were fake & refused my refund. When I tried to resell them, you took the post down BC they were "counterfeit". I emailed you NUMEROUS times & never got a response but u keep sending me junk emails to buy stuff. I HAVE ALL THE MESSAGES BETWEEN HER AND I, THE EMAILS TO U N I WANT MY MONEY BACK BC SHE RIPPED ME OFF.

My account was unfairly banned, I was in the middle of a legitimate transaction (banks approved), Tru Member, shipping through offer up. Then all of a sudden my account was banned. I am not scamming or trying to break the rules. Please help.
