What users are saying

1. 👍👍Works so well and set up is sooo fast and easyI Also love how the screen does not go dark every 10 seconds while you're trying to go through stations to find a good show, it stays on for a bit which is really nice compared to other, similar apps! A few of the buttons are in different places than the original remote, but that is to be expected, it is not a problem.

2. I'm just trying to use a remote, not see 3 ads every minute.Sometimes its extremely lag-y and seems to freeze, only to suddenly have it go through every action you attempted while it was in the middle of its technological brain fart within 1/4 - 3/4 of a second and then you usually have a pretty decent mess along with the decision as to whether its worth the time and effort to attempt to unravel it and set it right again or just start back over from the beginning.

3. Then they keep coming like every 30 seconds or after every 5 clicks, the worst part is they will pop up without warning so you'll be trying to click on the remote and suddenly an ad pops up and it takes you to their website or play store.

4. I do wish my wife could enjoy the premium features via a share option from my account, but she is limited to the standard version because there's no multi user option.Yeah the remote works, but the app sucks.

5. I downloaded another remote, not going to advertise because I'm not trying to take downloads away, but I haven't had ONE PROBLEMRunning off both an Android phone and a sideloaded Kindle Fire.

6. After this new ( terrible) update your finger has to touch the exact spot on the remote for it to work, therefore making you look at the phone every damn button you need to push.

7. Not to mention it wants you to pay for it, it doesn't ask you to pay for the actual roku app! Less than 5 minutes and deleted.App is great, lost my remote for like 2 weeks, installed this and I didn't need a remote anymore.

8. But other than that one specific and very irritating problem, I have no other complaints.I loved the TouchPad, since there is no haptic feedback from the phone the TouchPad made it easy to navigate menus without looking.

9. Ive looked through the reviews and a lot of people feel the same, some for different reasons but it should be an indicator to go back! That was dumb, I and plenty of others loved the oldHad a ton of freezing and the app buttons not doing A HUGE amount of the time.

10. Five stars I highly recommend this remote!BEFORE they had ads, I would give this app 5 stars because it WAS very easy to use and fast to respond.

11. Anyway, great app, works easily, and it looks just like the real remote.
