1. NOTE: make sure you disable auto update for this app in google play or it will reinstall the new version and overwrite the old version rendering it useless again.I've been installing kguard for year's as a budget system as it works fine and does what it's supposed to.

2. Would be great if I can not only selected a date but also the when I go thru playback to find what I looking for.Most of the time, unfortunately, it does not communicate with the device, or you have to open and close the software several times and wait 10 or 15 minutes for it to connect.

3. Very poor, can't view cameras away from home, can't photo scam to connect older app worked fine.Useless. So now I get a screen with 4 huge ratio buttons on and reduced size actual pictures.

4. This very important feature stopped working years ago across multiple storage devices (DVR's analogue & Hybrid systems) I like many other users have complained about this problem for years without a solution or even acknowledgement from "support".v2 of this app will not connect no matter what I tried.

5. This is a weakness because you may be traveling and need to view camera images and only have mobile internetI just wish kGuard would address the issue with their systems not being able to upload to Dropbox any more.

6. If I cant playback on my phone, its almost uselessI was able to access this on my Samsung Android Tab A6 until I accidently selected mainstream for picture which was on sub stream.

7. At the kguard security website click on support, page down to NS/BR/HD/ST Series Android, click on 1.1.1, download file and install it on your device.

8. I went to the kguard security website [find it below under developer website entry at bottom of this page] and downloaded v1.1.1 app, installed it and it connects without any issues.

9. One issue I found that playback to scroll time will not replay the selected time every time.

10. Since no one is watching them all the time and I dont often stay where the dvr is, playback function is important for me.

11. Please help.Works better, but still not great, can't connect to cameras on mobile signal but can on WiFi so pointless really.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix KViewPro Issues

1. Fix KViewPro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart KViewPro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the KViewPro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "KViewPro" » Open KViewPro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for KViewPro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear KViewPro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from KViewPro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "KViewPro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check KViewPro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, KViewPro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall KViewPro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall KViewPro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing KViewPro not working


2. Fix KViewPro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make KViewPro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to KViewPro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, KViewPro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
