Why should I report an Issue with Fuelio: gas log & gas prices?

1. EDIT: Export to & import from CSV is (or should be) brain-dead simple and would allow for sync between devices if done correctly.WARNING: SYNCHRONIZATION IS OFF BY DEFAULT! It also doesn't restore properly when enabled, and can't find the files in the Drive despite existing where it's looking supposedly looking.

2. It's the best app in this category!I love this app, however the auto backup feature doesn't seem to work and as such has caused me to lose first an entire year's worth of data, then a month after that.

3. Manually downloading and import worked, but missing the last 6 months of data? Also, the checkbox design makes it near impossible to know whether a setting is checked or unchecked.

4. After the last eight months or so I have gathered enough data with this app to compare vehicle costs per mile to help plan trips.

5. Worst of all, the export & import of data doesn't work consistently.

6. It does everything I need at the moment, keeping track of repairs and gas mileage, and reminding me of maintenance, and it does so with a mostly clear interface and no ads or popups.

7. If I manually export to Drive it works, but selecting "sync to drive" continues to leave out anything more recent than 2019.

8. It does not have a super slick interface, but everything works and the data is there.

9. Sometimes it works, other times it wipes out your data.

10. Going back to Acar while I continue to look for an app with good data interchange between devices.

11. The multiple backup options along with the auto start for tracking makes this app worry free and consistent.

1. Fix Fuelio Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Fuelio: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Fuelio App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Fuelio" » Open Fuelio: gas log & gas prices » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Fuelio » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Fuelio: gas log & gas prices app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Fuelio servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Fuelio: gas log & gas prices" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Fuelio app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Fuelio might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Fuelio. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Fuelio then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Fuelio not working

2. Fix Fuelio Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Fuelio be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Fuelio not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Fuelio may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
