1. It's literally just a way to buy day passes, which is okay for tourists, but if you actually plan on using RTD more than about once a month you're better off getting a MyRide card and using the Transit app for information.This used to be an easy way to simply buy tickets on your phone, no worries about a vending machine having a line or being functional.

2. A reviewer said you can't get single tickets which isn't true there's an option to get multiple or single tickets but right now I don't know if I can take the bus home :'(not bad... needs work for the train station.

3. There's no option to see what zones you need, so you're purchasing tickets blind, meaning you might not even be charged fairly.

4. Can this just leave me logged in? I understand having to use a password when adding funds per PCI compliance but what a pain in the butt having to login every time I use transit.

5. The fact you can't buy single tickets is ridiculous, and most of the links on the main menu open as web pages rather than in-app.

6. Why the extra hassle for something that was so straightforward and easy to use? You have eliminated the convenience that was my primary reason for using the app.the only good thing about this app is you can buy a ticket in advance.

7. You need to flag all the routes and times that are canceled on the schedules because it's difficult when you've got service alerts that make you navigate out of the app to the website to figure out what the alerts are.

8. Can't pay for parking on it, making it pretty easy to miss the train, especially at stations with large parking lot with few parking kiosks.

9. Also, if you're going to be canceling a huge section of the R line through October, you seriously need to add more trips on the other routes (H & E) to compensate.

10. Now it requires extra steps to 'charge' a separate account that you then use to buy the tickets.

11. Useful for adding transit value, but it constantly logs out and of course has no biometric option.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix RTD MyRide Issues

1. Fix RTD MyRide Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart RTD MyRide: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the RTD MyRide App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RTD MyRide" » Open RTD MyRide » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RTD MyRide » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear RTD MyRide app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RTD MyRide servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RTD MyRide" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check RTD MyRide app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RTD MyRide might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall RTD MyRide. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RTD MyRide then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RTD MyRide not working


2. Fix RTD MyRide Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RTD MyRide be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RTD MyRide not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RTD MyRide may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
