1. Think they need to take a look at the update as others have complained about the check deposit being unstable.Very convenient and easy to navigate even for non-tech savy person such as myself.

2. Is this option no longer available.....did I miss the memo!!??? Thank you.App is pretty good but the check deposit feature is slow and very nit picky.

3. It fusses about who the check is made out to (even when it is clearly made out to you) and whether or not you wrote "for mobile deposit" on the back, even if you endorsed it.

4. It's been this way for as long as they've had mobile deposit (one of the last to get it, BTW) and it's still so slow and infuriating after all these years.The app works reasonably well, and things largely make sense.

5. (To deposit, it requires entering the amount, taking the photos (with a super loud click, ignoring my media settings), and then verifying the back image.

6. The sight lines for the mobile deposit camera alignment are kind of odd, though it still works better than BOAs...I love this app! I go on it literally every day.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix The Summit FCU Issues

1. Fix The Summit FCU Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart The Summit FCU: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the The Summit FCU App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "The Summit FCU" » Open The Summit FCU » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for The Summit FCU » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear The Summit FCU app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from The Summit FCU servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "The Summit FCU" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check The Summit FCU app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, The Summit FCU might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall The Summit FCU. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall The Summit FCU then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing The Summit FCU not working


2. Fix The Summit FCU Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make The Summit FCU be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to The Summit FCU not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, The Summit FCU may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
