I also don't like that it plays the camera's shutter sound when it takes the picture of my check.I personally love this app for many reasons : It is an easy way to check that the $2 in your account are still there, you can deposit checks by taking a picture (it takes two days though), you can send money to others (as long as they are also a member), and transfer money to your different ccounts on the fly.

2. If you need to call customer service for help making changes and accessing your account, they are very helpful and make it very easy.

3. Being able to transfer money and check your balance is extremely convenient.

4. It needs some background shading and font color to provide visual separation.I have somewhat frequent issues with the app not working properly but it's definitely not the worst app I've ever hadI like the ease and functionality of this format over that of other banks and CUs .

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix IHMVCU Issues

1. Fix IHMVCU Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart IHMVCU: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the IHMVCU App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "IHMVCU" » Open IHMVCU Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for IHMVCU » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear IHMVCU Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from IHMVCU servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "IHMVCU Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check IHMVCU app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, IHMVCU might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall IHMVCU. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall IHMVCU then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing IHMVCU not working


2. Fix IHMVCU Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make IHMVCU be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to IHMVCU not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, IHMVCU may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
