ICE2U Customer Insights

1. It's doing you more harm than good in that caseI Iike the ability to earn free ice in the app but wish it was easier to identify your location.

2. Then you buy a bag of ice that's advertised at $2.50 on the machine and they charge you $2.75 in the app! Well guess what, none of the amounts they allow you to add is divisible by $2.75. So no matter what, you will be stuck with money in your account that you can't use.

3. They only want your money, not your opinion.I Love the ice, it's perfect for me! I love the taste and flavor of the water! I do wish the app had more to look at.

4. One located in Florence Colorado is shown as being located in Coal Creek which is more than 5 miles from its actual location.

5. I'm always searching for ice and have no good resource to find it.What a scam!! First they only allow you to add money to your account in predetermined amounts.

6. My app is stuck on 5 bags bought & has been since day one & I haven't been able to speak with anyone to get this resolved.The location map is inaccurate.

7. It's already inexpensive and I love it a free bag of ice or water is awesome.

8. What a rip off! They advertise a free bag after 10 purchases, but you've paid an extra $2.50 in the added costs, so its NOT FREE!The app itself is easy and convenient to use.

9. It is not a user friendly app at all.Ok dev, I'm unable to redeem my rewards for free ice.

10. I can't speak to the usability of the app because almost none of the many ice machines that I visit are even shown on the map at all, let alone in blue (available through the app).

11. I've earned at least 4 or 5 "Free bags" and haven't received one.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ICE2U Issues

1. Fix ICE2U Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ICE2U: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ICE2U App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ICE2U" » Open ICE2U » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ICE2U » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ICE2U app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ICE2U servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ICE2U" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ICE2U app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ICE2U might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ICE2U. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ICE2U then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ICE2U not working


2. Fix ICE2U Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ICE2U be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ICE2U not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ICE2U may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Yes July 5 2022 @/12:03am at UR location 1049 E Joseph St Centreville, MS 39631 I went to purchase a bag of ice like I usually do every night and all I had was $20 dollars on me.
    So I put my $20 in the machine pushed button for bag of ice and after it dropped down I pushed the button for my change back and the machine made the sound it does when it goes to dispense ur change but nothing every came out. So I just purchased another bag thinking it was just an error but still no change was dispensed so I did it for a 3rd Time and when the bag of ice fell pushed the change but to but still nothing came out of the machine at this time I was down to $14 out of my $20 I started out with. I didnt need anymore ice especially after purchasing 2 extra bags on top of the 1 I originally came to get. So I just kept trying to push button.but it never gave me my $14 dollar I was suppose to get back and it didnt give me any other option but to call number on the building. Well at the time my phone was cut off so I was not able to contact y'all about this issue till now. But I have put $20 dollars in this machine before and had no problems receiving my change back in the 1 dollar coins so that's why I was not hesitant about putting a $20 in the machine to purchase a bag of ice. I love having the convenience of using the ice machine I purchase a bag everyday some times two bags a day. Its a good price for the amount and the ice seems to last longer than the ice u can purchase at gas stations. So I was really hoping that I could somehow receive my $14 dollars that I was not able to get back from the ice machine on that night. I took pics and even a video of what the ice machine was doing and had across the screen of it before I had to leave the location. It would be greatly appreciated cause I really need that $14 dollars back. Thanks
