1. Smh, too old of a feature to not be implemented in any app, but especially where the whole point is to read textI live outside of Tex, so it's nice being able to get the local news.
2. Will you leave me alone now?Nothing has changed since I wrote this 1/24/21: Besides the poor editing exhibit extensively in Chronicle, the online experience makes it even more frustrating to read.
3. Please look at the BBC news app widgets for an idea.Overall a pleasant experience, but I would like to see the addition of a feature that would allow one to save articles for later reading.
4. I'd be down to pay the subscription if this app had a Widget feature so that I could read the stories from my home screen, instead of having to always search through my apps.
5. My personal user story that is cumbersome: when I am browsing Facebook and an Chronicle article shows up the page on the in Facebook browser is behind a paywall.
6. Totally need another option for local news in Houston.I am having the same experience as alot of the other reviewers.
7. There is also no easily accessible search feature on the HC app, so it is hard to find the article. The Chronicle has taken some bad advice and has it backwards.
8. About the only national or world news I can see with the app is when there's some local angle in the story.
9. So you are forced to have a beyond glaring white screen when trying to read in dark places which is morning and night for me.
10. If I open in Chrome to just go to the site and read the e edition half the time I can.
11. However if you are in the App and click on a news link it automatically takes you out of the app to a chrome web version.
