1. If you want a full subscription experience, you're probably better off skipping the app and using a logged-in browser.Although I often disagree with the editorial policies of the Express News, I admit news articles are fairly prompt even as they are at times journalisticly bias.
2. One good example of a news article I read only on the EN app was a feature story about the opening of the new Vietnam Grunt Museum in San Antonio.
3. If I was a new subscriber, digital all access would be $4.99/week, after the incentive period, yet as a current subscriber, my cost is $29.99/month. Do the math and you'll see I'm paying about $10 more per month than newer yet non-introductory subscribers.I read on an Android tablet.
4. Many times the article freezes about half way through.Well written articles and a much better source for news than a lot of those major news sources.
5. The app worked great for about 5 years, now it's a waste of time.False or misleading headlines, too many advertisements, too many stories that lead you through a rabbit trail page after page, and rarely getting to the point of the subject, and rarely completed.
6. Sometimes has an issue loading an article but I've noticed that's more to do with my connection or ram 😭App freezes easly while magnifying articles and adjusting to fit the screen.
7. I love the news, but it won't ever remember my account information and I have to confirm it every time.Pricing for subscriptions is unfair.
8. Old, outdated articles stay posted in the feed as current, sometimes for months.
9. Still have trouble with the App freezing while using the Snippet scissors.Update: It seems this problem was corrected.
10. (Using a Samsung A7 Tablet) Update: 18Apr2021 One day the e-edition was missing pages.
11. It may well add the latest content, but if so then there are relatively few new articles on a daily basis.
