Last but not least the customer service over the phone for help with the mobile banking app is perfectCan someone please fix this app, I have been using it for a few years now with no issues and now all of a sudden It won't open this is frustrating it has been this way for weeks now it keeps saying error I contacted home bank customer service and they said many are having this issue!If I could give a 0, I would.

2. I have to do it manually every time because the stupid AI doesn't pick up the check imageNormally the app works fine, but now I get 'Application violated security policies and will be shut down.' I tried reinstalling and that doesn't help.

3. This app, ugh! Stepstone :-)The app is very easy, mobile check deposits are quick and problem free, and the ability to quick glance at your account balance is nice as well.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Home Bank Issues

1. Fix Home Bank Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Home Bank: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Home Bank App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Home Bank" » Open Home Bank Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Home Bank » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Home Bank Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Home Bank servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Home Bank Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Home Bank app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Home Bank might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Home Bank. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Home Bank then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Home Bank not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Home Bank be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Home Bank not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Home Bank may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
