1. Google Chat is an intelligent and secure communication and collaboration tool, built for teams.
2. From ad-hoc messaging to topic-based workstream collaboration, Chat makes it easy to get work done where the conversation is happening.
1. And I _still_ can't set individual conversations to override Do Not Disturb like I could with Hangouts.Very easy to use and the functions are very powerful! It's easy to chat with multiple people at the same time, and I really like the function which you can share almost anything: files, images, text, tasks, and much more! Very easy to communicate on any device! This is literally the best chatting app with all the features you want and even more! So, my company is transitioning from MS to Google.
2. It's fine, but just last week on the tablet (in portrait mode) it started to display in a side-by-side split screen mode (existing chat contacts on left and messages on right), which I DO NOT like, and there's no way to select it back to its original mode.
3. Usually I'll end up with a blank window of the Chat background color, or it will only load the messages up to when I last checked them.
4. However, the chat alignment is often confusing (I wish it was color coded like in Messages), it would be nice to be able to seamlessly scroll between the images in the chat, on a minor note, but it would be great to see the green icon color throughout the app more dominantly.
5. Having both sender and receiver icons on the left side of the chat is difficult to discern when scrolling through tonnes of messages.
6. Development team seems to listen to user feedback, so extra star for that.I use Chat on my phones and tablet computers.
7. You'd expect it to load the relevant conversation, including the new messages since you last checked it, but that rarely happens.
8. Instead of a nice wide view of your message you have to focus on a tight, narrow space while typing and reading.Took me a bit to figure out how to actually send a message at first.
9. Using Chat on a computer is fine but on a phone is useful.
10. People keep saying that they aren't receiving my messages.
11. Messages being received will show up in notifications, but won't actually load in the app.
