1. No cust service contact info, it doesn't always give the cashback rewards for purchases, and the "help" feature only gives you info about "stimulus check" deposits, nothing else.

2. The first time I deposited a check this way, I didn't know it would take so long, and was very frustrated that I then had no other option but to wait.Never had a problem with this app for years until this last update.

9. If you never have an issue then the app is great and easy, but if you do have an issue (like with a pending authorization not falling off) then they basically give you the middle finger and tell you to shove off.

10. Three emails sent to the help address listed under the developer contact have gone unanswered with not even an automated response.

11. Last three days since Thursday June 4th the website and app are inaccessible and the Facebook page has comments disabled.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GoBank Issues

1. Fix GoBank Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GoBank: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GoBank App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GoBank" » Open GoBank – Mobile Banking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GoBank » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GoBank – Mobile Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GoBank servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GoBank – Mobile Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GoBank app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GoBank might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GoBank. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GoBank then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GoBank not working


2. Fix GoBank Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GoBank be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GoBank not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GoBank may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
