1. I select the product (elite 65t), press the button until it flashes blue, and then the app prompts me to my Bluetooth settings where I pair.. that's great and all and the product is working except in regards to the app itself, it will not proceed past this point.Apparently this is needed to enable a second app, Jabra Assist, but that app does almost nothing for my 25E's - oh, it reports battery level on the earplugs.

2. They keep saying I need to reset my device but it is not doing anything.This gets installed as a companion app of Jabra sound+.However, despite giving all necessary background battery usage permissions and repeated reinstalling, updating android software of Galaxy S8+, this app does nothing.

3. However, changing the settings in Configuration->Battery->App Launch to "Manual" and enabling all three options, seems to have improved/fixed connectivity ...Can't review this app properly as I cannot get past pairing my headphones with Bluetooth.

4. i do all that stuff manually anyway so nothing is auto stopping it on my end.OK, figured it out, download Jabra assist then when you turn the headset on, hold the button in for like 20 seconds instead of 5.

5. And no answer from mail support what so ever.I just got the Jabra Elite Sport and downloaded the proper app to connect to my Huawei P20 Pro.

6. It was designed for older version of Android.The Jabra Elite Active 65t and the Jabra Sound+ app are completely unusable.

7. Connects just fine with my phone every time and the battery life is good.

8. It works okay with my phone though but I can't use the app as it doesn"t get pass that "go oto bluetooth settings" process.

9. I cannot change the background settings on my phone to allow it to run in the background.

10. Makes Jabra headset the bestthanks for breaking my elite45 headphones.

11. i have turned off battery saving and gave special permission to run in the background but it still dissconnects and reconnects every 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Jabra Service Issues

1. Fix Jabra Service Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Jabra Service: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Jabra Service App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Jabra Service" » Open Jabra Service » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Jabra Service » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Jabra Service app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Jabra Service servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Jabra Service" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Jabra Service app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Jabra Service might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Jabra Service. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Jabra Service then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Jabra Service not working


2. Fix Jabra Service Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Jabra Service be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Jabra Service not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Jabra Service may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
