1. I turned it on for a few days and it is an absolute battery killer!!! My phone got super hot too - I could feel the heat in my pocket! You can also watch your battery level go down.Update! I reached out to get help and was given exact instructions to be able to receive notifications.
2. Upside, it had been very useful because I did have instances of CC theft and easily able to stop it with minimal damage.. so would recommend..The new interface is a downgrade, you can no longer see the balance on the card, only the transactions.
3. Willing to change my rating if someone can help.No visible notifications! My bank just switched to this app and it doesn't visually notify me when my card was charged/used.
4. Edit: I have found it and I thank you for the response, but either way it's been made unnecessarily clunky and has unneeded navigation to find the thing myself and probably many others use this for. This app update needs to be fixed.
5. The update, however, is a rather unpleasant UI that leaves no explanation on how to find one's card balance.
6. And secondly, Card Valet has a great option you can toggle on that will deny charges if your phone is not in the same vicinity.
7. I loved the app before the update and got the app for 2 things, checking my balance and usage alerts.
8. I contacted Card Valet support and it's been 2 weeks without hearing back.
9. It used to be helpful.did you guys lose money and had to downgrade your software?? Change it back!I've used this app at the suggestion of my bank.
10. You ever hear the phrase "If it isn't broke, don't fix it?" It applies here for sure. Not liking having to be forced to update.
11. It was preferable to my banks app because it was much more reliable and fast when checking balances, now the whole interface just feels unnecessarily limiting and clunky.
