1. To access all those features you'll need the premium version but it's definitely worth every penny! If you're wishing to stream your music to a Chromecast audio device with your local music, this is the app to get! I've had great support from the developer when I've needed it also.
2. (deleting or moving items) I Do NOT recommend using local playlists ! I reported this bug to the developer via email as the Send Feedback menu option from the app does NOT work either.Great music app.
3. All my music is on an SD card in my Galaxy phone.Rock solid performance streaming network music to phone and tablet, google home speakers, sound bar, and chromecast audio system.
4. Simple to use, allows sorting, & random playing of all my 20,000 + songs the way I want to.The app can play your local music including all DHD flac files I have.
5. However I use the music player to cast to Chromecast audio devices.
6. To allow playing my NAS's music library over my home network directly on the KEiiD audio stereo device.
7. Could it be that it because the names dont include the .wav extension like my other music files? Found that the app dosen't recognize .wav files in the download folder.
8. Not only can you listen to your own music on your phone but you can cast it to Chromecast without having to go through any web server.
9. The "MUZO Player" app that was supposedly designed for my audio device didn't do what I needed (hardly does what it's supposed to do).
10. Works with Chromecast Audio, network media library, and supports flac, which not all audio media players do.as the review by Mr.
11. This needs to be fixed to export standard playlists (M3U/M3U8) ! Update: Dec 1, 2020 - I found serious problems with local playlists becoming corrupted when edited.
Hey there It's Andrew and I need to Cancel my Hi-Fi Cast Subscription because I don't use it any more and have left home and sold my Smartclock so it's pointless having a yearly subscription when I no longer have a Smartclock or use the App anymore. Thank you, Andrew.
Hello developper.
Hi-Fi Cats is a tremendeous app (i bought it) BUT an important display option is missing: that of being able to have a grid presentation (as for the albums) for the lists of files in the folders.
Can you please add this possibility?
This will allow you to see the images better, and to have the PLAY and ADD buttons on each thumbnail.
Thank you !
