1. The only missing addition would be to add option to choose another camera available in my phone (Tele lens shoul allow get bigger picture of the slide).it's really quite good, especially for colour negatives.
2. This works great as a loupe for me since live preview works great! The app quickly turns to mud when trying to actually capture the negatives.
3. For color negatives, not only does the contrast get flattened, it badly color casts.Unusable. I originally purchased this on a Pixel 2, I believe, re-attempted the app on Pixel 4, then on Pixel 6 Pro.
4. this is the first time I've found a phone scanning app that might actually replace my regular negative scanning workflow. If the auto works, it works.
5. Ive tried colour and black and white negatives and dont get good results.
6. The preview image isn't promising of end results as the "positive" color is completely warped and so low resolution there's no way to tell if it's in focus.
7. Resolution with digital zoom is very low.three major drawbacks on Android version of filmlab.
8. It will not focus closer than 6 inches away and when I press the capture button I get severely reduced contrast capture.
9. Galaxy Note 8It's a little tricky, but when you adjust it right it makes excellent positives of old negatives.
10. The other 1 out of 5 doesn't seem to capture anything.
11. 1- filmlab app must be quit and opened with each picture.
