Greyscale Customer Insights

1. No need to go to developer option again and again. This is incredible..This helps a lot in reading purposes. For people who are confused with root permissions, you don't really need to root your phone but instead plug the mobile with developer options on and grant permission as given in the script in the app.You need to install adb interface to pc first.Works perfectly for what I hoped it would do! Keep in mind this needs root or the adb permission because it's editing the build in setting in your device for the color space.

2. Love the quick tile that android doesn't have.Works perfectly! it would be nice to update the description with a guide on how to do this for other people: Install adb tools, enable usb debugging for your device, connect your device to your pc and make sure it is connected, then finally run that adb shell command in a terminal or command prompt window and then it should work. This is the only app I have found that does what I want.

3. Guys do this , open enable developer mode on your phone , under hardware acceleration , select last option simulate colour or similar and select monochromacy , that's it, your done .Amazing app.

4. I'd recommend the lifehacker 'easiest way' article rather than getting sdk, wayyyy simpler. This is perfect! No root required, just connect to a pc with adb installed and give permission via copied command.

5. It probably should mention in the help text that it's a shortcut to the service in the Developer Options. The app is good but I don't want to mess up the process.

6. People are giving 1 star because we can enable these via developer option.

7. only downside is that you need to install adb on your computer to grant permissions.

8. It so long hidden inside setting to officially turn on and off, this app make it very easy just turn on and off from the control center.Nice app.

9. Switching color mode to greyscale is just tap on icon.

10. But i guess it was meant to act as shortcut icon.

11. Can turn it on or off just by clicking the icon.
