Please allow us to view local stuff or events in the actual Facebook app like before, but do some basic testing and stuff outside of LA or NYC to make sure interface works.This app *could* be brilliant for discovering what to do, when at home, when you've just moved, when you are on holiday and especially when visiting another city.

2. I love the calendar feature! Find paint nights, bars, bands, workshops, classes, restaurants and anything that has been created as a public event on Facebook.

3. Get out of your rut! This is a great app to find things to do! The app takes events from Facebook and combines them all in one app, easy to use and interact with.

4. Nothing but a map and an error message show on open.** It's nice to be able to see events outside of Facebook, but it has bugs.

5. When I select a date to view events, it still shows me events from other days, including events from the day before where it's physically impossible to even go to! If I wanted to look at events for other days, I would select those dates! Common sense.

6. I want to like it and use it as a single alternative to Facebook, but it's still got a ways to go...this is a really nice app for finding events.

11. As others mentioned, the dates function is all messed up, and the geographical interface is all messed up; but to be fair, the geographical part never worked well from previous versions of the app.

1. Fix Facebook Local Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Facebook Local: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Facebook Local App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Facebook Local" » Open Facebook Local » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Facebook Local » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Facebook Local app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Facebook Local servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Facebook Local" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Facebook Local app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Facebook Local might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Facebook Local. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Facebook Local then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Facebook Local not working

2. Fix Facebook Local Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Facebook Local be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Facebook Local not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Facebook Local may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
