1. Full screen in VODs will go landscape full screen, but will go back to portrait orientation at the slightest touch of the phone, instead of only going back to portrait after hitting the full screen button a second time.

Edit: Locals app does not let you log in if your connection is less than optimal, preventing you from enjoying the shows ypu are literally paying for...Works fine so far except: Needs to work in landscape mode (while not playing a video) Update 16 June 23: Becoming rather poorly behaved lately.

9. I cannot set my phone flat, or close to flat, in full screen without it going back to the small screen automatically.

10. Good: Improvement in seeing what you watched already and resuming videos.I love what the company stands for and the content creators (who I try to support financially).

11. I do love the ability to play videos without having to stay in that screen.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Locals.com Issues

1. Fix Locals.com Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Locals.com: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Locals.com App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Locals.com" » Open Locals.com » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Locals.com » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Locals.com app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Locals.com servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Locals.com" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Locals.com app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Locals.com might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Locals.com. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Locals.com then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Locals.com not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Locals.com be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Locals.com not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Locals.com may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
