It does the same thing for me which is unfortunate because it's staggering to use your phone with the filter working on everything else but get absolutely blinded when you turn on your phone or have to slide down the notification bar.I've been using this so for a while now because I have sensitive eyes and I've really enjoyed it, is been consistently easy to use UNTIL now.

1. Restart Blue Light Filter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Blue Light Filter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Blue Light Filter" » Open Blue Light Filter - Night Mode » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Blue Light Filter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Blue Light Filter - Night Mode app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Blue Light Filter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Blue Light Filter - Night Mode" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Blue Light Filter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Blue Light Filter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Blue Light Filter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Blue Light Filter then reinstall.
