1. You get all the normal capabilities in only 9 keys, with tons of customizeable options, from size and colors, to the particular special characters you may wish to add, move or delete from the keyboard… all with one hand if you wish.I've been using this keyboard for years to serve as a better keyboard for single-handed use than qwerty (I normally use Gboard for two-handed).
2. Message ease is unparalleled for one-handed operation, but when I have two hands available, there are times I want standard qwerty-swype, and it's a pain to have to switch default keyboards back and forth (in android settings).I've been using MessagEase for many years, but I've finally decided to abandon it, since the devs have as well.
3. I would like to be able to easily switch to a simple Qwerty keyboard and back using the hand button.I've used thrs app for several years across different phones and love it.
4. Flick keyboards are really good.I have been using this keyboard extensively for years, and it is definitely the best touchscreen keyboard I have ever used (and I tried about 8).
5. The app has a suite of options to customize controls and usability.EDIT: I fiddled with the keyboard settings and spent the last 90 minutes on my compulsive writing habit and I am typing as fast as I did on a full touch QWERTY.
6. Love the app! Typing is just so much more convenient this way, however, I still can't figure out how to quickly switch to a different keyboard without going to settings.
7. The only issues I have had with it are quite minor, such as the symbol key not allowing me to access some letters I would expect to find there and the emoji picker being pretty much terrible, but this barely affects me as I almost never use emojis.I have been using MessagEase for about a year.
8. Can you please integrate a way to switch keyboards.I love that fewer "keys" in MessageEase means my fat fingers can hit the key I want.
9. It doesn't work well with jetpack-compose text boxes, its autocorrect is worse than every other keyboard, and its full of bugs.
10. Select Input Method and then select the input method you wish to switch to." but this method stopped working years ago.
11. my remaining issues are that the color customization sliders don't have a preview, I can't move or swap the finger and backspace keys, and I wish that the swipe command on upper-left A was a single tap.
