So if you're trying to dollar cost average with a hundred dollars a day, similar to what I was doing, you may end up paying 15% of your total assets just in fees to transfer to a wallet (not to mention that some purchases aren't allowed to be transferred, for being too small -- which I also didn't know about, or the additional fee you pay for transferring out of the wallet, or the fact that you need to use the eToro wallet app do any of this which is extremely buggy and often can't even load the login screen) even if the "flat rate fee" is a small fraction of 1 percent of the amount you're trying to transfer.

2. Also a cache issue causes false data in the portfolio (show already closed positions as open, or doesn't display freshly opened positions.) Both issues are solvable ny a force close / reopen of the app, but it's a pain and definitely a regression (from approx January or February I'd say) UX of the new graph is clunky : I spend my time reseting it... Edit: desktop version is fine.

3. If you don't ever intend to transfer to a wallet, nothing I found while using the app suggests eToro is anything other than a great choice of platforms with low fees.

1. Fix eToro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart eToro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the eToro App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "eToro" » Open eToro: Trade. Invest. Connect. » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for eToro » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear eToro: Trade. Invest. Connect. app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from eToro servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "eToro: Trade. Invest. Connect." » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check eToro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, eToro might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall eToro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall eToro then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing eToro not working

2. Fix eToro Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make eToro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to eToro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, eToro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
