1. No idea why, but it actually worked!Works great! I've used it for years and it helps me choose and set ringtones that I download myself when my phone wouldn't let me choose a different ring tone than the one already programmed with it.My experience with this app has been amazing I only have one problem with it when I sometimes set at music for when my notifications come in sometimes that will disappear or it'll be there for a while then it just disappear I would have to set it like over again so that's the only thing I have wrong with this app otherwise it's amazing I love itGood app for setting ringtone , worked without glitches , worked on my custom rom android 11 (project sakura) , which is lineage based os + i use a custom kernel too .

What I do is set one I want to use as notification, then set my default one back, and then the one I want to use is still in the custom notification sounds list.I'm so happy that I can finally transfer some costume audios in my ringtones! I've been searching for some videos and apps just to change my notification ringtone then I found this! Gladly I didn't give up!! I wish this app very luck!!!I have the pixel 4a 5G and for some reason it couldn't find my sounds that were mp3 in my ringtone folder! It was driving me nuts! On a whim, I looked for an app to set ringtones and tried this guy.

3. and it should just be able for alarms notifications ringtones use the same folder not add a song one by one you should be able to add the same folder use the same playlist for notifications ringtones alarms and whatever else that needs sound but you can't so this really really needs some updating especially for the technological phones that are out there now really got to step it up really really needs a major overhaul! see the screenshotI thought this was fake, but no joke it actually worked.

4. My audio settings were crashing and luckily found this app on a xda forum thread...Worst ringtone setter ever, don't download it,as it shows the ringtones which is in our device from before this app was downloaded, very bad app.

1. Fix Ringtone Setter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ringtone Setter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ringtone Setter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ringtone Setter" » Open Ringtone Setter » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ringtone Setter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ringtone Setter app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ringtone Setter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ringtone Setter" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ringtone Setter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ringtone Setter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ringtone Setter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ringtone Setter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ringtone Setter not working

2. Fix Ringtone Setter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ringtone Setter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ringtone Setter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
