About Alert SacRT

1. App users can send photos, six second video, text descriptions, and locations of suspicious people or activities. * The “Report an Issue” button allows users to send text or photos directly to RT.

2. The system is also designed to send text descriptions before photos so that the police can get information as quickly as possible.

3. The Alert SacRT Safety and Security App offers riders a quick and discreet method for reporting safety and security concerns directly to RT Police.

4. Riders can also send reports anonymously if they chose. * The “Call RT Police” button will connect customers directly to RT Police.

5. When reporting an issue, users can select locations and report categories to assist RT Police.

6. BOLO Alerts on Alert SacRT may display alerts from RT Police about specific persons of interest.

7. If you see a person from a BOLO, immediately call 9-1-1 and send an app report to RT discreetly.

8. If you send a report from an area without cellular/Wi-Fi connectivity, it will be stored and sent when connectivity returns.

1. Furthermore the ability to select a time period for alerts would be great too.I download the app to plan trip from point A to point B and it is very dificult to use.

2. Which is not the issue, but why have no smoking signs or check passes if they don't check connect cards most of the time or too scared to remove the homeless people? Luckily I ride during peak hours, so far less often.

3. On the alerts, however, it would be great if we could select one or more lines to receive alerts, instead of getting alerts for all lines.

4. I mainly use it for alerts but unfortunately, even though it has you select which line you would like to receive alerts from, I still receive alerts from all of them which is really annoying.It's great to have this app.

5. but when it happens and ignored its frustrating even after reporting.Too many notifications especially ones not relevant to my area/travel and after they are turned on, the on/off switch inside the app was grayed out.

7. I remember a while, i mean a while ago, i would put where i wanted to go to and it would show me what time to leave my apartment, a map where to walk to if i needed to catch bus, at what timw the bus would get there, and then if i needed to walk more.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Alert SacRT Issues

1. Fix Alert SacRT Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Alert SacRT: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Alert SacRT App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Alert SacRT" » Open Alert SacRT » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Alert SacRT » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Alert SacRT app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Alert SacRT servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Alert SacRT" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Alert SacRT app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Alert SacRT might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Alert SacRT. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Alert SacRT then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Alert SacRT not working


2. Fix Alert SacRT Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Alert SacRT be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Alert SacRT not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Alert SacRT may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
