1. I'm not going to troubleshoot to get a plug and play device working.I got my Eero router for free from my ISP, and after seeing how little control I have over it (the router must have an internet connection to download its settings from the cloud and you must use this app to change the settings) I'm extremely glad I didn't pay for it.
2. Regarding the functionality I do see, it's slow, unreliable.I did not realize the lack of control you have over Eero devices until my system was purchased and installed... Shame on me for jumping on a deal and thinking these devices would work.
3. As everything from toys to appliances get connected to the internet, a low priority device should not be able to consume all bandwidth.Keep losing WiFi signals and literally confuse the connected devices.
4. Glad I spent all that money to not be able to use my phone or computer wifi.No way to change the settings from PC? No documents or nowhere it mentioned how to change settings from a computer.
5. I do not recommend this product. You can reset your eero and troubleshoot on your device to fix connection issues and change some things on your own.
6. Between missing a webui, leaving out basic features (wireless channel control, etc.), and the app not detecting active devices as "online" or even at all, it's a mess.
7. Eero developers are missing out on the great functionalities of a real router.
8. If you don't have a phone or you just lost a phone, then need to go to buy a new phone to change the settings? Why extra trouble? In addition, the available settings are extremely limited.
9. The performance is pretty good compared to my old router (it had better be given my old router is 10+ years old) but this unnecessary cloud service with no local way to configure the router is just bad.
10. If I could get a refund at this point I'd replace my Eero Pro 6E setup in a heartbeat with a functional, stable mesh solution.Apps easy to use.
11. Basic things cost money, I have to pay to see something every other router gives me for free.
