1. This often forces me to walk around the apartment complex on foot because most of the time the apartments aren't labeled from a street view, so I have to walk up to the building, only to find out that this isn't building 6 that I'm supposed to be at, but it's building 17.My app constantly crashes.

2. why do you need to redraw the map every time to show directions? you can't track dash stats mid-dash, must end dash first.

3. 😡 We also can't "Dash Now" unless our area is busy, or unless we have a 90%+ or so acceptance rate, which requires a dasher to regularly take ripoff trips that pay like $1 to drive 10 miles.

4. I have all notifications enabled and still if I'm not looking right at the main screen, if I navigate away, without notice I get text messages that doordash tried to send me the delivery that I didn't respond to and then they pause me.

5. The sign-up process has been problematic (workflow loops), and you don't really have a fine control over your schedule.Forced me to re-verify, which cost me a nice chunk of schedule I was in the middle of securing before the prompt.

6. I've also had a dash I accepted and drove 5 miles to the pickup point end randomly before I picked up the order.

7. I can listen to high bit-rate podcasts or videos just fine, but for some reason, this app can't handle a GPS and text box to save its life.As an app, Dasher had a few problems, notably notification sound loops, and a few one-off "bugs"(?).

8. 9 times out of 10 too much stress with navigating, combined with the road closures, sweltering weather, and trying to make it to the customer on time.

9. It constantly crashes, freezes, and doesn't properly redirect to other apps (like maps) almost every time.

10. To be fair, I have a Samsung phone, and their updates are designed to downgrade your phone over time so it could be my phone.

11. there's no audio to notify you of a new order; this causes you to miss new orders while driving and paying attention to the road.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DoorDash Issues

1. Fix DoorDash Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DoorDash: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DoorDash App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DoorDash" » Open DoorDash - Dasher » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DoorDash » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DoorDash - Dasher app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DoorDash servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DoorDash - Dasher" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DoorDash app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DoorDash might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DoorDash. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DoorDash then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DoorDash not working


2. Fix DoorDash Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DoorDash be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DoorDash not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DoorDash may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

My account has been innactive for years just because a customer reported that he never received the food, this is an issue that all the driver have and they dont care about us. Trying to reach them but they dont respond dont care.
