1. You can't talk to anyone at the marina about the best way to accommodate special reqests.Love this app...in the old days you would have to fumble through pages and pages in a waterway guide to find a stopping point, now you can see pictures and descriptions of marinas and points of interest near by...easy to use and plan a tripI was not able to finish my reservation on the app.
2. Easy to reserve, easy to cancel.Too difficult and not user friendlyI'm not real keen on the fact that they have 17 hours to answer our "request" (after we give them a credit card!) Yet we must give them 24 hours notice to cancel or change a reservation.
3. Beats the old days when you spent hours trying to reach marinas on the phone.We are a small Marina in New York and we were one of the first Marinas to join Dockwa several years ago.
4. They're success has been instrumental as they now provide marina software which unfortunately doesn't meet the needs of many Marinas such as ours.
5. In addition there's no guarantee the Marina will have wifi, an available slip that meets our needs and no answer to questions.
6. So far this trip we have already had one Marina charge us more than their "advertised price"....of course you don't find this out until after you arrive and are docked!I like the app.
7. Its to the point where some members will not stay at Marinas that solely use Dockwa for transient services.
8. Their new sales plan is to charge a monthly flat fee year round if you're not using their software.
9. JGWorks great and very responsive.Recommended by a friend but I'm not able to make a reservation.
10. This cost exceeds our transient revenue 3 fold which they know, especially only being active 4 months of the year.
11. after i enter all the information and my credit card, i never get a confirmation screen to complete the booking.
