1. If used with a DisplayLink enabled docking station, a single larger monitor, keyboard and mouse can be connected to the Android device making it easier to interact with productivity apps.
2. The app will clone or mirror the Android device screen or can display content presented by applications like Microsoft PowerPoint.
3. This app enables a single DisplayLink enabled monitor, at any resolution up to 1920x1080.
4. Multiple DisplayLink enabled displays are not supported.
5. This app can also be used with a DisplayLink enabled graphics adapter to present Android screen content to another display, for example to connect to a projector in a meeting room. - Any Android device running Lollipop 5. - A DisplayLink enabled docking station: or a DisplayLink enabled adapter: Only connect a single display to a video output. - If required, a USB On the Go Cable (OTG) or USB C male to Standard A female cable, depending on the USB port on your device. - DisplayLink’s wired Ethernet connection is not currently supported.
1. If I have an hdmi monitor I can, but that defeats the entire purpose of the Superbook, or having a portable displaylink to connect an Android device to a screen either with dex or if it's a device with no screen. The application is very good to go for screen mirror from any Android device, but the thing is the user must have a docking station for this to work screen mirroring.
2. That's fantastic! Just a note that my Dell S2340T big monitor's touch screen feature does not register tapping when connecting to my Tablet LG V521 (running Android 6); it does register tapping but only on portrait mode when connecting to my Nexus 6P (running Android 7).
3. It even works if you change the resolution of your phone with something like SecondScreen! This allows me to use any screen with any resolution.I recently got hold of a small DisplayLink USB TFT screen that has been previously used with a cash register.
4. It would be nice if android or the app is able to adjust resolution in the extra screen.
5. I undestand that changes in resolution are difficult because android just allow mirrow screen with the same resolution.
6. Changed rating to three, still some issues but this program is worth trying.Works flawlessly except for places like Amazon video where, due to content protection, I can't watch anything (Netflix SD plan works though?).
7. I can mirror the phone screen, but even with a hub and don't hdmi plug to activate dex, I cannot get dex through this.
8. Of courses, it doesn't matter what option I choose, screen mirroring doesn't work.
9. It would be nice when I have to travel. When a DisplayLink-certified hub (D6000) connected to Pixel 6 Pro (Android 12) I see a pop up "This app has not been granted record permission but could capture audio through this USB device." with options OK and Cancel.
10. A little sad that I can't watch DRM stuff but I can understand. It can mirror my phone display to a DisplayLink-enabled monitor, without any latency.
11. I have been using this with 2 different Motorola phones for a few years now, and it works great, especially with my new phone.
