1. To review critical of file locations, the version I'm using has ability to copy from its native directory to downloads folder, besides clearly showing on top of the in app file browser the full parh to local storage of aduo records.Great little app.
2. Thanks for the great audio recorder!Exactly what I was looking for! The app itself doesn't take up too much storage, does the job I need it to and even has a decent amount of features.
3. You can change this to a pre-defined public directory, or in the context menu download the private files to your system Download directory for transfer to laptop or other file management.
4. Example: it says that it saves files in the following location -- /storage/emulated/0/android/data/com.dimowner.androidrecorder/files/music/records -- yet I cannot find "any" of that directory path when I look for it on my phone.
5. File deletion for the private location is performed in the app's context menu, with option for instant permanent deletion.
6. I'm just getting started in finding out all the possibilities this app provides and it's free with no ads! The author is too kind to put out such a great app at no charge! I'd pay for a pro, but this is already a pro!I am not a sycophant or in any way an author a software designer or affiliated with this program.
7. It even gives a description of the settings as you select them when you first set it up! I've been trying to find a decent recorder for my phone but now I've found it.
8. That being said, it would be great if there was a way to sort the recordings, such as being able to create folders to put certain recordings into, or even just a way to flag certain recordings as important.
9. Little did I know, I would find this so fast! Record a message and send it to social media accounts, to your friends, etc.
10. The initial storage location is the app's private directory.
11. the only reason that I switch from this recording app was because it didn't automatically back up everything to drive, but if you don't have a lot of recordings like I do then you can do that manually just fine.
