Darktrace Customer Insights

1. The email feature in 4.1.0 is nice but could do with the links and attachment ( hashes / file names ) details being displayed ( maybe pivot links to VirusTotal etc to search) to allow review before releasing.Excellent mobile app giving visibility and some control into my Darktrace environment.

2. I would not recommend using this app as the dev or the customer support doesn't send a email back to you they will waste your time like they did to me .There is no logout option, multiple time observed no data flow, AI analyst always been showing Network issue please try after some time.

3. Won't be missed.I have sign up for a free trail I fill out the form and it has been 4 months no I have not received any emails back if my free trail was accepted or not it should not take this long to receive a email say your free trail has been accepted.

4. Looking forward to upcoming updates allowing similar access and control to the Darktrace Antigena Email system.

5. Users w/ Low App Ratings: If you're not an Enterprise client with an active subscription to Darktrace, and authenticated access to the main platform UI which will allow you to register the app - stay clear of this app.

6. I dont think the other reviewers realize this app is to connect to a network server you would already have in place at your place of business.

7. Darktrace overall is an excellent security product.

8. You authenticate the app by taking a picture on the servers screen.Asking to record your face is hardly appropriate for an app that should protect your privacy.

9. Better to enable the logout option.This app was used by hackers on my phone!!! Please warn friends to check to see if this app is downloaded.

10. And best of all I can control Antigena Respond actions - initiate, deactivate, reactivate.

11. Three time observed I have unistalled and installed for login again.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Darktrace Issues

1. Fix Darktrace Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Darktrace: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Darktrace App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Darktrace" » Open Darktrace » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Darktrace » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Darktrace app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Darktrace servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Darktrace" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Darktrace app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Darktrace might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Darktrace. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Darktrace then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Darktrace not working


2. Fix Darktrace Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Darktrace be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Darktrace not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Darktrace may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
