1. Became completely unusable on my old phone a year-and-a-half ago – live TV and DVR would just show a black screen and progress meter and occasionally flicker a distorted still photo of the show for a moment before saying Sorry Having Difficulties.
2. Why does COX require us to compromise our privacy and security, enabling other applications to do things we don't want!I've used this app for some time and have generally had no issues.
3. It's not my connection, it has to load the channel list/guide at startup and everytime you want to change the channel, which makes it kinda frustrating to use.Not too bad.
4. But that feature is not fully satisfactory, as it does not include the major networks!! To me, that's like buying a car without wheels!!It's common for it to not be able to play a tv show for hours at at time.
5. If Cox was a person and came to my place of employment, right now I would stand there and piss you off by buffering for a couple of months. For all those who keep saying it's pointless to use at home... not all rooms in my house have cable (older home).
6. The issue now is that on the page that tells you whats on what channel and at what time it just freezes when you scroll up or down.
7. just the GPS enabled) forces one to allow other apps and services to use your personal data in ways many of us don't want.
8. I sign in from example, Discovery channel app and it works, no problem.
9. Other times you can scroll through about 20-30 channels or so then it freezes.
10. So I use it on a tablet oriented landscape on a stand which makes for a mini TV in rooms without cable.
11. Thank you to Cox for an expensive service that works terribly, much appreciated! This app would be great if it ever worked right.
