1. Suggestion: make a "pro" version that is subscription based and offer a "free" version that allows one to test a few coins a month.Used it every once in a while with my coin ping tester, like maybe once every couple of months.
2. I wouldn't mind paying a reasonable one time fee but having to pay a monthly(!) subscription fee? That would only make sense if I am a coin dealer or have to check a lot of coins every month.
3. Does not identify a Gold 4 Ducat correctly or is unable to as doubt it's been updated in the apps database as no green tick next to it to show the coins fineness, weight or diameter have been verified or 3 stars are available.
4. Don't trust this app for gold! RE: Developer's response... If the purpose of the app is to detect fakes, what prevents a gold clad silver coin from pining as if it was solid gold? Fraudsters could easily fool this app.
5. So if I want to check ONE coin that's locked, you need a subscription to check it.
6. The free section is quite good but let down by the subscription service.I don't mind paying some but a monthly cost is just a no.
7. Coin verification is opaque, just giving stars without showing e.g. a spectrogram with the peaks and expected peaks as some other testing apps do.
8. For the occasional test of a coin at the flea market the subscription price is to high.
9. For all intents and purposes that matter to me, China and Russia are third parties that shouldn't be having my coin sounds, let alone other data collected in the process of using this app.
10. Updated it to the newest version, and now SO MANY coins are locked unless you buy a subscription.
11. Pretty ridiculous to charge monthly.UI needs work on entering coin name/characteristics.
