About My Retail Rebel

1. Even worse, the price scan feature simply DOES NOT WORK and it crashes the app every time I try to use it (I set the permissions correctly).

2. It would be nice if the app showed cost of item plus tax and fee so I don't have to do the math every time.This app has been getting progressively worse with each major update in recent weeks.

3. At this point the price scan feature also became very slow and buggy compared to before, and sometimes it simply wouldn't work at all.

4. First, the camera-flash option was removed from the price scan feature, which was very handy for difficult-to-read barcodes.

7. And just now there is a brand new update, and the app loads slower than ever before, complete with a vague log-in screen that makes you log-in each time you open the app now.

8. Honestly, I have no problem with that, but if you're going to social engineer everyone to spend more money then RENT ENOUGH SERVER SPACE for a quality user experience.

9. "popcorn" bidding and all the other updates are simple ways of gamifiying the process and increase prices.

10. I left cargo largo because the phone bidding was great even brought over a bunch of people with me.

11. I authenticate with my Google account and it just takes me back to the initial page to pick authentication method in a nice loop.

  3. Clear My Retail Rebel app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Retail Rebel servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Retail Rebel" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Retail Rebel app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Retail Rebel might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Retail Rebel. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Retail Rebel then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Retail Rebel not working


2. Fix My Retail Rebel Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Retail Rebel be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Retail Rebel not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Retail Rebel may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
