1. Even if passengers have a tablet or a phone stand, how do you expect passengers to watch videos while having meals when they seat-back table is occupied by the meal tray and hands are holding cutlery? How about when passengers' devices are running low on battery? You just don't care do you? Is Cathay Dragon now a budget airline? Introduction of this stupid system and removing entertainment hardware from the seats to squeeze in a few more seats and save a few bucks is a big mistake.App doesn't work, crashes immediately after opening.

2. It simply crashed each time you try to run it!!!Terrible app... Not working, a cheap scam to get passenger to use yourown device for i flight entertainment that does not work.. created more frustrating and the plane was not equipped with usb chargerDont bother downloading this version.

3. Using Samsung S9+ Android 9.0Couldn't even see the landing page .... It crashes the second I click to open the appInstalled twice, restarted phone and still it won't open.

4. Even if it worked, do you expect passengers to hold their phones throughout the flight? Not everyone own a tablet, and not everyone's phone (or phone case) has a stand.

5. It still wants me to download and install the version from the flights WiFi system.keep crashing after installed, cannot open app at all.

6. Totally pointless and feels mean that an airline removes entertainment without a working alternative...at air fare prices that are expensive.

7. Just flashes and crashes when I try to open it.The app doesn't work.

8. Don't pretend to offer a service you don't have.Home screen doesn't even open up on my Android.

9. Ended up being stuck on flight with NO in-flight entertainment.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix StudioKA Issues

1. Fix StudioKA Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart StudioKA: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the StudioKA App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "StudioKA" » Open StudioKA » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for StudioKA » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear StudioKA app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from StudioKA servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "StudioKA" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check StudioKA app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, StudioKA might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall StudioKA. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall StudioKA then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing StudioKA not working


2. Fix StudioKA Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make StudioKA be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to StudioKA not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, StudioKA may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
