Carnival HUB Customer Insights

1. Overall it was great to be able to keep track of activities and chat with my group maybe adding video calling or picture sharing in the group chat.The overall app was very helpful and easy to navigate.

2. Being able to have access to the daily schedule whenever you need it, adding things to your planner and receiving the notification 15 minutes prior to the event, and being able to see the menus to the restaurants before you walk in was great.

3. Also, the ability to order drinks items outside of liquor to the room along with food delivery orders would be very helpful.There were times we could not find things and weren't always caught up with current events occurring, or at least we couldn't find them.

4. Figure out what's going on, what time you're arriving to ports and what there is to do there, and even text your family and friends, again, great concept.

5. It was great to pay only $5 per phone to be able to text your family and keep in contact when not together instead of paying for the Wi-Fi plan.

6. I took one star off becaus for some reason my phone booted me off the wifi every time I got on the elevator (which was often) and I had to reconnect to the wifi to chat.

7. The chat feature however is not great.

8. Thirdly, chat messages are listed in no discernable order.

9. The chat would randomly stop working and even unsend messages or just never send them.

10. I didn't give it a 5, because the chat feature didn't work very well.

11. It is also great for checking the times of entertainment and when all the food places are open.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Carnival HUB Issues

1. Fix Carnival HUB Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Carnival HUB: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Carnival HUB App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Carnival HUB" » Open Carnival HUB » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Carnival HUB » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Carnival HUB app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Carnival HUB servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Carnival HUB" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Carnival HUB app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Carnival HUB might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Carnival HUB. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Carnival HUB then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Carnival HUB not working


2. Fix Carnival HUB Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Carnival HUB be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Carnival HUB not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Carnival HUB may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
