1. How about an option that keeps the user active for say 5-10 minutes after logging in/doing an action etc? Would also be great to have polygon(matic).it's a great app, and always has been, but i was wondering if i could request a fix for the lack of syncing/blockchain issue that occurs for the first time a person powers their phone off following the reinstallation of the app, where the blocks will sync immediately after a wallet is restored on a new copy of the app, but not after the phone has been turned off or restarted following said reinstallation (android).

I can't even see my balance because it's just too slow, no mather what node I choose — I've been trying to sync for 2 hours!Generally good but couldn't buy crypto as the transaction partner is only accepting orders from within USA or some random islands... You get most of the way through the process before finding out too - really annoying Edit: feedback sent.

3. Will update if addressedBalances arent showing correctly, it does show the balance in xmr but not the USD equivalent, I'll give 5 star cause its first time I ran into a bug since I started using it 2 years agoI this app has a big bug 🐛.

4. Also would be nice to have a daemon running in the background so the blockchain sync happens right away- my understanding is that this would potentially create a risk but would be nice to have the option.

5. Excellent customer service! The trading problems aren't due to the wallet, I've taken that up with the exchange.Had an issue with the swap but support from both sides were on it.

6. I can't imagine that I tried withdrawing cakewallet I sent to the wallet and they kept telling me incorrect password.

7. When you switch back to cake after entering your pin you go back to the starting screen and all trace of the purchase transaction you started has gone.

8. It's a bit annoying to have to reauthenticate every time I switch wallets or apps, but i get that this is done for more security.

9. Shame it used to be really good.Good experience, one request I have is giving the option to set a default currency.

10. To me that's a large part of the rating, security and service.Like the app but keeps crashing when tapping receive for LTC and BTC.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Cake Wallet Issues

1. Fix Cake Wallet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Cake Wallet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Cake Wallet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cake Wallet" » Open Cake Wallet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cake Wallet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Cake Wallet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cake Wallet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cake Wallet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Cake Wallet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cake Wallet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Cake Wallet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cake Wallet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cake Wallet not working


2. Fix Cake Wallet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cake Wallet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cake Wallet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cake Wallet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Height error. When I try to sent XMR I get an error that says height error. I tried changing the date to a year before today which goes much further back than needed.. I lost like over 300 dollars sometime ago and you guys had me jumping threw so many hopes I decided at the time it was not worth and neither was you app. So after a few months I decided to give it another try and it is doing the exact same thing it did to me before when your app stole my money. It is continues to change the address from the one I submit i want my monero to go to and the address on the confirmation page. As you might image this is extremely frustrating and I have decided I want my 300 dollars back now and why does it keep changing my address on the confirmation page that I want my monero to go....is it just trying to rip me off again. I mean I am pissed right now

Hi, I've been attempting to purchase BTC via Wyre and Moonpay all evening. I've tried using my primary bank account via Capital One which I've never had issues with, as well as cash app when that failed. With Moonpay it said my bank didn't authorize, no matter which bank I used, which is BS, and with Wyre I didn't even get that, merely something is wrong with a redirect to a support page that didn't exist. I've tried using 3 separate accounts in total on both platforms, and all were denied. What's going on? Plz advise. Thx.

I've been a victim of an unauthorized transaction happening with my BTC, not sure if it's because I didn't upgrade to 24-seed on time or what happened. But my BTC got forwarded to an address that's not mine as soon I received it. I haven't been using the application in a couple of weeks prior to this happening. The exact amount of BTC missing is as the transaction states: 0.07823167 BTC. However, I was expecting to receive funds so my balance never moved from 0.0 BTC, instead of receiving the BTC. they seem to have been automatically forwarded to an address that's similar to my address according to blockchain.com. I think it's been a mistake on your side (server-side) of the application, probably due to myself not switching to 24-seed words when I was prompted. The transaction ID of the unauthorized transaction: dac4e20c8615c5f2e1f090d2ed818e2e563af3e7bf8db35e97c1cea5b10d89b2 Cake wallet application version is 4.2.1 Please do resolve this issue in my interest as soon as possible, it's very frustrating and exhausting. I have done nothing to deserve this kind of behavior from your wallet, nothing similar ever happened to me on any wallet. I've already sent all of the requested screenshots and information to case@redacted, it's been seven days without any reply from them. This is the address that has received my bitcoins, it seems to be a fresh address that has never been used before: bc1q493mpak63udymv3jmsnkuh75q6hvhnhyhrpakv It's very similar to how my receiving address looks like, please allow me access to this address or even better send it back to my wallet.
