1. Lags and it's glitchy.I've had a great experience with the Bumped app over the past couple years (team even mailed me an Xmas surprise with a Home Depot gift card one year) but the move toward the new format recently has really made the app less useful.
2. But, the main reason Bumped is getting 1 star from me, is they seem to have a very difficult time syncing with my credit cards.
3. The emphasis on spending through the Shop Now feature rather than investing by being loyal to the brands you like really detracts from the apps main purpose, and turns it from a wealth building app to a wealth diminishing app.
4. When I ask the support team why purchases are not showing up, they tell me that it takes time for the credit cards to report purchases.
5. In the past, it was a great way for me to passively stack additional rewards (maybe the reason for the change) and definitely influenced my shopping habits.
6. I am receiving stock for my purchases, so I'm getting what I'm supposed to with this app, but the functionality of the app is not great, so I can't rate it higher.
7. If I'd wanted to have to go and buy through specific apps to get credit for my purchase I would never have signed up.2/3/22 Update: with the recent updates they have greatly improved the functionality of the app.
8. Really difficult to navigate now.. When I choose shop it is suppose to open a browser and redirect you to the site of the brand you want to go to.
9. Will glitch out and close, will lose the fingerprint sign and and require it be set back up, and when trying to link the second card it continues to freeze up and kick me out without updating the new card.
10. Overall great idea though!Very good idea and the actual transactions seem to work pretty well.
11. Renewing the Loyalties rewards by buying 3 offers every 3 months is a hassle and the selection in the Loyalties group is lacking.
