The bar scanner works to drop off cans, or print stickers, and it works to scan into Fred Meyer's BottleDrop machine! 4. 3 months I have been trying to get a actual card to use with the Bottle drop locations but the only card I have is on my phone.

5. Won't let you log in, says credentials are wrong (they weren't,we checked) can't send an email with your username or password through the reset option.

6. About the only minor complaint (now) is that the back button (some places, not always) closes app instead of going to prior screen.

7. Otherwise does what it should.App keeps saying "login failed unexpectedly", despite website working fine.

8. App messes screen brightness even outside card screen.

9. I used to have to manually turn up the brightness every time I needed to scan it, and now it does that automatically.

10. Only gripe is that the login screen is not compatible with vision accessibility features.

11. The kiosks don't like the QR code, have to go to "Card" menu for UPC style.

1. Fix BottleDrop Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BottleDrop: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BottleDrop App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BottleDrop" » Open BottleDrop » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BottleDrop » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BottleDrop app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BottleDrop servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BottleDrop" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check BottleDrop app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BottleDrop might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BottleDrop. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BottleDrop then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BottleDrop not working

2. Fix BottleDrop Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BottleDrop be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BottleDrop not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BottleDrop may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
