1. Please add fingerprint login as it is done with other banking and UPI appsI am using it from last 4 years, I got very good response, but now after its last update 1.1.46 (Android version 10) no work left.

6. Many banking applications are allowed to run even in the 6 or lower android version, but it is not opening in android version 8 and consistently asking for Android version 10 or even higher.

7. I use other bank's apps as well and all of them use fingerprint login but this app still requires to put username and password.

8. Because the Android version of my mobile is less than this (Android version 9).

9. My Android version is already updated to 11 and it still gives the same error.

10. Do you wish each of them to compromise their work just to use BOI app for few minutes because you don't allow access without uninstalling these apps? Instead you can show the warning but let us decide if we want to proceed along with these apps.

11. Tried to contact customer service they asked to send a mail but there was no respnse.Hi, I had been using the app for a while and I could access it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BOI Issues

1. Fix BOI Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BOI: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BOI App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BOI" » Open BOI Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BOI » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BOI Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BOI servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BOI Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BOI app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BOI might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BOI. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BOI then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BOI not working


2. Fix BOI Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BOI be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BOI not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BOI may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
