1. The data will only be accessible by you or whoever you choose to share it with. • Share image - will make a picture of the tree, that can then be printed. • Export data - all information about the people, that can then be imported.
2. Then slide left(or up) with 1 finger to see the right(or bottom) side of the tree.
3. To switch the tree, tap on the "Clear current tree" from the Menu.
4. To change the font size - tap on the 3 dots (•••), then on "Settings" and on the top option "Text size", then use the slider to make the names bigger or smaller.
5. Horizontal pinch will make the tree wider.
6. Enter your new tree information.
7. Start your tree with one of the youngest in the family.
8. On every import, a backup of the current data will be created.
9. Tap on a person's name to edit, delete, move, add a parent or add a child of this person.
10. By default the name of the backup ends with the number of people in this backup.
11. You can have more than one family tree.
1. However, when I click on share to generate an image the app goes straight to pdf converter and does not let me choose how to share (if by image, email, etc).looks to be a light weight app fearure rich, i didnt like kt because there is no add spouse option... four a couple with two kids, inhave to add one kid, add one parent, add another parent, go to one of the parents add one child, and make the other parent parent of this child, i felt the simple option of spouse and sibling also should be there..best app so far, but.... how come i can't add siblings, and can't add a spouse??? these two relations would make making the tree that much easier!!! lastly, what is the point if i can't zoom in and out to see the ever expanding tree?!Couldn't find a way to depict marriage or divorce.
2. Also there being no option to add images is disappointing.Very handy app, but please please please add a save button! I've had to re-enter a COLOSSAL amount of information many times, after app or phone crashes, as automatic backups were only sporadically created.Very simple, clean app that gets the job done.
3. All in all, the app does what it says, and I like that.Nice and simple app that enables a family tree to be built up offline.
4. Note to developers: family tree is more complicated than a simple tree.. recommend you think about what is involved.
5. Currently when I share a JPEG the quality is too poor to read the names clearly when you zoom in (like I said I do have a huge family).the app is excellent.
6. That's the only reason I've dropped it by one star.Love this app! Simple, flexible, visual! Takes a moment to get the hang of it, but once it clicks it is so easy.
7. Backup often in the beginning. You can sort of make a tree on here but the process is over complicated and the result is underwhelming.
8. Took a few minutes to figure out how to transfer my tree from my old phone to my new one, but I did manage.
9. Not having an option for a spouse makes it intuitive an cleaner.
10. I have a huge family and the current limitation means that I cannot line up all of the children properly with their parents.
11. When you click one name there should be more options than "add child" , "add parent" , and "move" .
